My vacation :) August

Hello! Do you enjoy your summer vacation? I enjoy my vacation! I am going to write about my vacation in August from now.

I finished final exams on August 6. I went to downtown with Yuki. We decided to go to karaoke. We bought hamburgers and fried potatoes to take out in MacDonald, and went karaoke. We enjoyed karaoke. Suddenly, the electricity of the room disappeared, and the power supply of the machine was cut, too. We did not know what happened then. After all, we were moved by another room. That room was very large! We sang in that room. I thought that I want to go there again in a great number of people. This is picture of that room. It was really large…! ↓

On August 8, I met Yuka in downtown. I had to go for my part-time job, and Yuka had to go for a lesson of the ballet on that day, so we met from early time. We went to Center River to eat lunch. We talked about animations and comics. We love ONE PIECE very much. After we left Center River, we went NewS. We talked many things there, and we went Doutor Coffee and talked there. We are very talkative. We said good-bye at 3:00 p.m.. I wanted to talk more!

On August 10, I went to the dentist. After that, I went to the movie with Ayaka. I didn't have part-time job on that day, but Ayaka had it. We met in front of PARCO, and went to CINEPLEX Kumamoto. We saw Helter Skelter. I really wanted to see this movie! Syo Aikawa, Go Ayano and Nao Omori appeared this movie. I like them. The movie was interesting! Erika Sawajiri was wonderful. I am glad to see the movie. After seeing that movie, we went back to downtown and ate lunch in Itarian Tomato, and we said good-bye.

On August 11, I met Tomoko. Tomoko is friend since the age of my elementary school. She is one year younger than I am, but she is reliable person. We intended to go to the sea on that day, but it was rain, so we went to Tenjin, Fukuoka by rental car. I don't have license, so Tomoko drove a car with going and returning. We arrived Tenjin at about 10:00 a.m.. We parked car at a parking lot. After that, we strolled around Tenjin. Tomoko lived there last year, so she guided there. We ate lunch in a restaurant of a one-pot dish made at the table by cooking vegetables and slices of meat in boiling broth and eaten with a soy-based sauce. In short, it is shabu-shabu. It was very good! I thought pork is suitable for shabu-shabu than beef. After lunch, we went to Tenjin underground shopping center. There is totally a maze! I must be at a loss by all means if I go with one me. After that, we went STAR BUCKS. Tomoko treated me to tea. I felt that I am sorry. At about 3:00 p.m., we left Tenjin. I really appreciate Tomoko. She is Tomoko^^ ↓

On August 17, I met Yuka and Reiko. We are from Luther high school. We met in downtown and we went Saint Marc Cafe. We talked there many many things. We thought women are fearful. We left there and took purikura in ams. After that, we went NewS and talked again. It had grown dark before we knew it. We went Daimonji to eat dinner. I am not good at turn inside out okonomiyaki. After we finished dinner, we said good-bye. I was happy to see them!

On August 21, I met Yuka and Ayaka. We call us "sawaguchimizu" because our family names are Sawada, Kawaguchi and Shimizu. I hit upon that popular name. We met at downtown. We went Yayoiken to eat lunch. After that, we went to karaoke. I wanted to listen to Ayaka's singig voice of K-POP. We had very good time! After that, Yuka had to go for a lesson of the ballet on that day, so Yuka said good-bye. I and Ayaka strolled around downtown. Though I hated to go, we had to say good-bye. I went GUST in Fujisakigu. I had an appointment with my friends there. They are friends of my junior high school. The member is Toshinori, Kagemichi, Shinnosuke, Shiori, Yuka and I.  We played holdings fireworks last year. That was very very interesting, so we wanted to do that again. I met them at about 7:00 p.m. and ate dinner. After that, we went Don Quixote in downtown to buy holdings fireworks and moved to a flood plain along a Shirakawa River. We went there last year. At about 10:00 p.m., we started to play holdings fireworks, but we put time several times because smoke appeared in large quantities. Meanwhile, it was 00:00 a.m., so only I returned earlier. Shinnosuke sent me to my house. I thanked him.

On August 26, I met Yuika, Airi, Mei and Aki. Mei goes vocational school in Tokyo. Then, she came back to Kumamoto on that day, so we met. Kayo should have come at first, but she was not able to come suddenly. It was a pity she couldn't come. We met at about 6:00 p.m., and we went Yayoiken to eat dinner. I went there two days ago, so I ate Fried chicken set meal for the first time. It was very good! I want to eat it again. After that, I and Yuika ate gelato. Then, we went Wander City in South Kumamoto and took purikura. I and Aki played UFO Catcher. After we came back to downtown, we went MacDonald and talked there. At about  11:00 p.m., we said good-bye. I was happy to see them!

These are memories of my August. I think that I lived a full life. I want to live a full life in September(^o^)♪

Vacation Topics: What classes I will take next term

May be, I will take the same classes next semester, but I don't have Reading next semester. Professor Kamimoto has already gone to the USA in fall. I have 13 classes next semester. However, I will have to change my schedule of classes before next semester start because I think I failed some classs in 1st semester. There were some difficult classes to get credits for me. For example, History of Britain, Theory of the Environment and more. I want to believe that I got credits of required classes. If I failed their credits, I change them. I have to choose other classes.

Vacation Topics: My vacations plans

My summer vacation has started, but I have a lot of time. I have many plans in this summer, too. I am going to meet many friends. I will my best friends in this week. I am looking forward to meeting them. I promised meeting with Naomi. We wanted to go to Amamiya in downtown, but we had exams. We promised going there after exams, and we will go to karaoke. I want to listen to her singing voice! A main event of this summer is travelling to Tokyo with my friend. We will go to Tokyo last of summer vacation. We will stay for two days there. We want to do many things there!

BR 1-15: Tigger Comes to the Forest

"But I think," said Piglet to Pooh, "that he's been strengthened quite enough." (p. 48)

I chose this book because I knew Pooh. He is famous character of Disney. I like him, so I read this book.

Tigger who is a friend of Pooh appeared in this book. I think he is a clown. He wandered to search some foods for his breakfast. Pooh and his friends tried to give some food for him. I think they are very kind. However, Tigger couldn't eat all of them, so I came to get irritated. He should eat them without picking and choosing.

Finally, he ate Roo's Extract of Malt. Tigger come to like it and Roo was happy because he don't like it. However, I think it is bad for Kanga. Mother is anxious about a child always. Tigger shouldn't eat Roo's medicine.

Essay 1-03b: Language Learning History

I am going to write about my language learning history. I have learned some languages since my childhood. My parents are both Japanese, so they speaks Japanese. I also usually speak Japanese. However, I can speak and understand English little. Well, I write about my English learning history. After that, I will write about leaning German a little.

My first encounter with English is when I was a child attending kindergarten. An English teacher came our kindergarten. We sang some English songs, and learn English. We enjoyed Christmas party with him. However, I do not remember that thing at that time so clearly. My mother says "he was very good teacher".

After I entered an elementary school, I began to go to KUMON. It was when I was a fourth grader. I learned English and Japanese there. I had to go there on Monday and Thursday a week. I also had many homework. It was very disagreeable for me, but I could learn English. I had to read sentences in English and listen to CDs and pronounce them and take tests. I continued going to there for approximately four years. My English learning level was raised. It was very valuable experience for me. I have begun to come to like English from this time.

I entered a junior high school after I graduated an elementary school. We have English class there, so I faced English classes with confidence. It was easy for me to understand English in a junior high school. I enjoyed to learn English. I came to like English more and more. I think my English teacher was very wonderful to teach English. She made us happy in classes. We could enjoy during learn English. She tried to make classes fun. I was taught English by her for three years. I deeply appreciated her.

I entered a high school. I belonged to synthesis course. I was invited by English course. However, I did not go that course because if I went English course, I had to attend extracurricular classes in morning. I wanted to learn English more harder, but I did not want to attend that, so I decided to learn English in synthesis course. Luckily, my class teachers are English teacher all the time for three years. I could ask some questions, and consult about learning English. Thaks to them, I was able to keep English records with being good.

At last, I entered this university last year. I am in the department of Britain and United States, of course. I have to learn English more deeply. I had five required subjects when I was freshman. They are writing, reading, listening, speaking and English grammar. I learned hard. As a result, I took all credits. I have been learning English. I want to do my best from now on.

By the way, I have learned not only English but also German. I took German class when I was freshman. I was able to choose one from German and French and Spanish and Russian. I chose German. It was very difficult! The pronunciation is similar to English, but It is difficult for me to pronounce German words. The grammar is difficult, too. I had many hardships. However, I could took credit. I want to visit Germany because I want to try whether my German goes properly.

I have learned English since my childhood. I want to continue to learn English. However, I am insufficient to master English. Maybe, my English learning history is useful to learn English harder. I want to make more English learning history from now on.

Heavy Rain

It rained heavily last Wednesday. On Thursday, I couldn't know that we had to go to university. I decided to go to university for the time being. I went there by bus which go to Suzenji via Kokai. When the bus approached Jougyouji, the bus driver asked us to get off bus. The bus couldn't  pass Kokai. I got off the bus and began to walk. I was going to go to university by walk.

I approached the university, a road was flooded. I was very surprised. There were Rina and Nanako there. We couldn't advance forward. After then, Nanako want back to home. I and Rina continued to wait, and the water subsided. We could advance forward, but mud was still left. We stepped into the mire. Our shoes and feet were smudged with mud, but neighborhood took the trouble to hose down our shoes and feet to get the dirt off. We were very impressed! We felt warm feeling.

After that, we supported the university approximately 30 minutes before a class was over. I took the class, and it was over. Then, campus program flowed. It said "all classes are canceled today". It made us angry because we came the university desperately.

After all, we had to go back home. We got nothing for our pains. No classes on Friday, too. It is troublesome to take make-up classes.

At last, approximately 20 people died by this heavy rain in Kumamoto. I pray their soul may rest in peace.
